In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.
As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

Dear Canyon Ridge High School Families,
We want to let you know that our fire alarm went off during lunch today due to a water-pressure issue in the fire-suppression system. There was no fire or danger on campus.
Students and staff briefly evacuated the building in accordance with standard safety protocols and will return to their normal afternoon schedule once the alarm is deactivated.

Kinders to CAPS: Meet Me at the 50!
One of Canyon Ridge High School’s special Riverhawk traditions returns Friday, August 28, during our first home football game against Centennial!
At halftime, Canyon Ridge seniors will gather at one end of the football field while kindergarten students from our feeder elementary schools gather at the other. The two groups will make their way toward midfield and Meet at the 50, bringing together our future Riverhawks who are just beginning their school journey and our seniors who are beginning their final year at Canyon Ridge.
Kindergarten families are encouraged to join us and dress their future Riverhawks in Canyon Ridge crimson, silver, and white. We can’t wait to welcome the newest members of the Riverhawk family!

Crisis counselors will be available again today, Monday, Aug. 3, for people who witnessed or were affected by Saturday’s shooting at the Twin Falls In-N-Out.

Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.
