The TFSD #411 wants to remind parents, students, and teachers that there will not be school Monday, February 20, however, there will be school Tuesday, February 21. Monday, teachers will receive training for the Idaho Core Standards In-Service Day.
The district distributed a 2016-17 calendar in the spring of 2016, which was approved by the school board in January of 2016. This calendar was then revised in June of 2016 to include Tuesday, February 21 as a school day after it was brought to the calendar committee’s attention that Monday, January 2, 2017, was an observed holiday. The revised version of the calendar was distributed in the quarterly mailing of the District Focus and posted on school district websites. The calendar committee chose to add back Tuesday, February 21 as a school day rather than adding a day to the calendar after the Memorial Day weekend.
